An interactive VR music video for Reminder — the new single from upcoming album MODERAT III. A rebellious teenager slaves away in a dystopian world, harvesting crystals from a vast grey landscape. This sparkling bounty is brought as an offering to a tribal deity, who resides in a shrine guarded by sentinels with green glowing masks, where he is constantly under attack from an army of drones.

ARTIST BIO
MATE STEINFORTH
Mate Steinforth, born 1977 in Hannover, is a designer and director based in Berlin. He studied graphic design in Hildesheim, Germany and Fine Arts in Madrid, Spain. His early professional work was focused on animation, particularly the performance art of VJing. In 2002, he moved to Madrid to work as an Art Director in the design studio Juan Dela Mata. In 2004 he moved back to Berlin where he worked as a freelance motion designer and director. In 2006, he moved to New York to work for the production company PSYOP. In 2009, Mate moved back to Germany to join the motion design and animation label Sehsucht Berlin as Creative Director. Since 2011 Mate Steinforth has been appointed as a member of the Art Directors Club Germany.
