DARREN EMERSON
- Darren is a producer and co-founder of East City Films, a London based Production Company.  Over the last 15 years he has produced everything from music videos, multi-camera OB’s, to documentaries filmed in Serbia, India, Myanmar and Nigeria.  Since the end of 2014 East City Films has fully embraced live action VR to become one of the leading independent producers of VR in non-fiction, arts and education.  Darren is passionate about the potential VR has to tell important stories in a unique and emotionally engaging way.  His goal is that “Witness 360: 7/7” marks the first in a series of VR documentary films that will pair extraordinary personal recollections with immersive imagery and abstract visual symbolism, to create films with a deep sense of emotional resonance between the audience and the subject. This is Darren’s debut as both documentary Director and VR filmmaker.
