DER GROSSE GOTTLIEB
DIR. DANIËL ERNST
Netherlands | 3 Mins | Real-Time Experience
Hear ye hear ye. The fabled Der Grosse Gottlieb, the greatest acrobat of his generation, will perform his final amazing trick. After constructing a tower of chairs twice the size of the Eiffeltower, he will now build a tower of mythical proportions, high enough to reach the stars!
Der Grosse Gottlieb is the second addition in an ongoing series of fantastical dioramas for VR by interactive illustrator Daniel Ernst called The Shoebox Diorama. Every diorama is meant to mesmerize the audience and offer weird and wonderful sights and sounds in hand-painted magic realist environments. Interactivity is used to tell a story and enhance the sense of presence, not to solve a puzzle or reach the end of a level.
